Bobby Ramey

Bobby Andrew Ramey, Jr., age 55, of Bridge Creek Community, Tiger, Georgia died Sunday March 17, 2013 at his daughters residence with his loving family by his side.

Born on January 2, 1958, Mr. Ramey was the son of Bobby Ramey, Jr. and Shirley Wells Ramey. He worked in the grading and construction field for Dinsmore Grading and he was a member of the Rocky Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Ramey was preceded in death by a brother, Marty Ramey.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Christa Ramey Holcomb and Brandon of Tiger, GA., parents Bobby and Shirley Wells Ramey, Jr., brothers and sisters in law Mike and Lynne Ramey, Wayne and Christie Ramey, Tommy and Becky Ramey, Stephen and Angela Ramey, and Jimmy and Amber Ramey, sisters and brothers in law Margie Johnson and Alan Zaharko, Lisa and Jameson Wilburn, and Dianne and Nick Steele. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the Rocky Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Kyle Watts and Mr. Max Watts will officiate with interment to follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rocky Grove Baptist Church, 6900 Bridge Creek Road, Tiger, GA 30576, on Monday, March 18, 2013 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Bobby A. Ramey, Jr. Memorial Fund, c/o Community Bank & Trust, P.O. Box 1825, Clayton, GA 30525.
