Billy Neville Holcomb

Billy Neville Holcomb, 85, of Tiger, GA passed away at Northeast Georgia Medical Center on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. 

Born in Rabun County, GA on December 17, 1934 he was the son of the late Gordon and Effie Marcus Holcomb. He worked as a painter for General Motors and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He loved the outdoors and gardening, fishing, hunting, restoring antiques and wood working, He was also a member of Tiger Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Effie Holcomb, a brother, Lamar Holcomb and is survived by three sons, Gordon and Anabela Holcomb of Florence, KY, Tom Holcomb of Lake Orion, MI and Greg Holcomb of Sarasota, FL, a daughter, Debbie Mancini and Jim Taylor of Oxford, MI, and a sister, Betty Jean Coleman of Clayton, GA. Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive. 

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to Liberty Cemetery in Tiger, GA on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 1:00pm for a graveside service with Rev, Tim Hunnicutt and Rev. Thomas Burrell officiating. 


The family is at their respective residences.
