Beatty Sue Holden, 65, of Clarkesville, Ga. died Saturday June 13, 2009 in Landmark Hospital in Athens, Ga.
Born in Rabun County, Ga. April 30, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Sam L. Holden and Irene Tyler Holden. She was a waitress in the Restaurant industry and a member of the Hollywood Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother Carlton Dale Holden and is survived by four brothers and their spouses, Charles and Vicki Holden of Mt. Airy, Ga. James and Diane Holden of Cornelia, Ga. Buster and Pam Derrick of Indiana, Andy and Genda Derrick of Clarkesville, Ga. seven sisters and spouses, Genelle Looney of King, NC. Patsy and Thurmond Gipson of Clarkesville, Ga. Jean and Wayne Simpson of Cornella, Ga. Reba and Angus Hunter of Hollywood, Ga. Martha and Larry Cook of Clarkesville, Ga. Judy Richards and special friend, Jimmy Ayers of Mt Airy, Ga. and Lynn and Johnny Broomfield of Mt. Airy, NC. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be at the Hollywood Baptist Church in Hollywood, Ga. Wednesday morning June 17, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Don Samples officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to the Hollywood Baptist Church Tuesday June 16, 2009 where family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M. The family is at Reba’s Restaurant in Hollywood, Ga.
