Betty Roberts Evans Garrison, 77, Mountain City, Ga.


Betty Roberts Evans Garrison, 77, of Mountain City, Georgia., died Monday February 22, 2010 in Mountain View Health Care Center in Clayton, Georgia.
Born May 29, 1932 in Cherokee County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Walter H. Roberts and Leora Young Roberts; she was a seamstress in the textile industry and was of the Baptist Faith.
She was twice married, first to the late Gene Evans and later to the late Calvin Garrison.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Cable of Mountain City, four brothers; Earl Roberts of Young Harris, Ga., Ralph Roberts of Flowery Branch, Ga., G.W. Roberts of Pontiac, Michigan., Claud Roberts of Placenta, Ca., one sister Frances Giles of Hiawassee, Ga., four grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.
A Memorial Service will be at Newman’s Chapel Baptist Church Wednesday February 24, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. conducted by Rev. Danny Cannon. Visitation will be at the Church from 2:00 P.M. TO 3:00 P.M. with service at 3:00 P.M.
