Belle Wilburn Henslee ,94, of Rabun Gap, Ga. widow of Fred C. (Buck) Henslee died Tuesday March 24, 2009 at her residence.
Born Feb. 28, 1915 in Rabun County, Ga. she was the daughter of the late Lafayette and Sally Ledford Wilburn. She was a Homemaker and was a member of the Mtn. City Church of God for 28 yrs.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by; seven brothers, Eli Hugh, Terrell, Elick, Jack, Ray, Frank, and Oscar Wilburn and one sister; Flora Rogers .
Survivors include one son; Floyd Henslee of Rabun Gap, Ga., two daughters; Edith Conner of Hiawassee, Ga. and Sue Patton, Rabun Gap, Ga., twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 28, 2009 at 2 P.M. at the Head of Tenn. Baptist Church where the body will be taken to lie in state from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour with Rev.Don Moffit and Rev. Wren Worley officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
The body is at the Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends on Friday March 27, 2009 from 6 to 9 P.M.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Sue Patton on York House Rd. in Rabun Gap, Ga.
