Barbara Ann Owens, 63 of Old Chechero Road, Clayton, Georgia died Saturday night November 12, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Hartwell, Georgia July 5, 1948, She was the daughter of the late Ed Odister and Sarah Teasley Odister. She was a cook in the restaurant industry and was a member of Ivy Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ulysses (Pee-Wee) Owens of the home; by two daughters, Queen Barbara Fruster and Doris Elaine Fruster, both of Mountain City, Georgia. One brother, Dewitt Fruster of Toccoa, GA. Two sisters, Nancy Odister of Hartwell, GA., and Shirley Odister Ware of Lavonia, Georgia. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday November 15, 2011 at the Ivy Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Farris Long officiating. Burial will be in the Penland Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Monday night November 7, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M.
The family is at the home on Old Chechero Road, Clayton GA.
