Barbara C. Neville, 88, Lilburn, GA., formerly of Rabun County, died April 21, 2009 at Emory Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA. The widow of the late Edward J. Neville, JR.
Born April 20, 1921 in Shelby County Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Jackson Carter and Ethel Holloway Carter. She was a member of the Clayton Baptist Church for many years and a member of the Lunch Bunch of Clayton.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law- Kim and Debbie Coleman of Atlanta, GA. and one daughter and son-in-law- Dee and Doug Jones of Hoschton, GA. One brother John Wesley Carter of Ocala, FL. Four Grandchildren- Whitney Virginia Coleman, Douglas, Darin and Dwayne Jones. Also six great grand children survive.
Graveside services will be Friday April 24, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Wesley Memorial Cemetery in Rabun Gap with the Rev. sam letson officiating.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Thursday night April 23, 2009 from 6 to 8 PM. The family is at their respective residences.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Clayton Baptist Church Sanctionary Renovation Fund, 87 S. Church St., Clayton, GA. 30525.
