.Arta Nash Peacock Gibson, 90, of Dillard, Ga. died Sunday April 4, 2010 at the Oaks at Scenic View in Baldwin, Ga.
She was born October 18, 1919 in Parish, LA. to the late Lizzean Nash and Shelby Gibson
She was a Secretary for the Florida Department of Vocation Rehabilitation services and was a member of Women of the Moose, The Eastern Star of Tampa, FL. and was of the Methodist Faith
She was the last member of her immediate family. She was twice married first to the late Judge Howard Blaine Peacock Sr. and then to Shelby Gibson. Survivors include, One son, Howard Blaine Peacock Jr. of Scotsdale, Az., two grandchildren, Howard Blaine Peacock III , of Dillard, Ga. and Adair Chapman Peacock of Schaumburg, IL. And 4 great grandchildren also survive.
The body has been cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Tampa, Florida
