Anthony "Tony" Swain Welch

Anthony "Tony" Swain Welch, age 56, of Lakemont, GA, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024. He was born on August 5, 1968, to the late George Junior Welch and Doris Mildred Holbrook.

Tony is survived by his daughter, Torie Mosley of Clayton, GA; his brother, Tim Welch and wife Teresa of Marion, NC; and several nieces and nephews, including nephew Anthony Manley and niece Becky Manley, both of Marion, NC. He also leaves behind three aunts, Lois Holbrook of Gwinnett, GA, Frances Mitchell of Clayton, GA, and Betty Sue Webb of Westminster, SC.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Teresa Edmonds, James Remington Stancil, and Anita Welch.

Tony was a dedicated rock mason and worked in construction throughout his life. His craftsmanship and work ethic left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

A loving brother, and friend, Tony will be deeply missed by his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
