Ann Kilby

Robert Ann Alley Kilby,78 , of Clayton, Ga. died on Monday Jan.4,2016 following a prolonged illness.

Born on Dec. 20, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Robert Wiley and Ila Rosanne Alley. She graduated in 1955 from Rabun County High School.

Ann retired from Ga. Power/Southern Company and her hobbies included , gardening and doll making.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Leah Kilby Byrd and her husband Bryant of Wiley, Ga. , Half - sister , Lucinda Crook and Half – brother, Huber Moore and his wife Tanya all of Salisbury, N.C. , Special cousins, Betty Gragg Justus of Clayton, Ga. , Randy Justus (Susie) of Lakemont, Ga. Tommy Almond and Ervin Mauldin of Norwood, N.C.

The body is at the Hunter funeral home where family will receive friends on Friday Jan.8, 2016 from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M. (Service Hour). The service will be held at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating.


Burial will be in the Cannon Cemetery in Wiley, Ga.
