Ann Clay Dickerson, 67, of Bleckley Drive, Clayton, GA., died Saturday July 19, 2008 in Cartersville, GA. She was born April 2, 1941 in Shelby Tennessee.
She was the daughter of the late William L. and Vivian Inez Payne Clay. She was the widow V.C. Dickerson. She was a member of the Clayton Baptist Church and the Ideal Sunday School Class.
She is survived by one step-daughter- Lana Macdei and her children, Danica and Kagan, of Buford, GA.; One brother and sister-in-law- Phil and Gilbert Clay of Adairsville, GA.; one nephew and wife- Brad and Nozomi Clay and children, Kento and Michelle, of Rome, GA.; one niece and her husband- Kim and Robert Rider and children, Britany and Joey, of Lula, GA.; one great great nephew- Aiden Harris.
Funeral services will be Tuesday July 22, 2008 11:00 AM at Clayton Baptist Church with the Rev. Joey Thompson officiating. The burial will follow in Rabun Memory Park.
The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 AM to lie in state until the funeral hour.
The family is at their respective residences. The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will receive friends Monday July 21, 2008 from 7 to 9 PM.
