Amos Littrell, 77, of the Bridge Creek Community, Tiger, Georgia., died at his home on Thursday November 12, 2015.He was the husband of Bobbie Coleman Littrell.
Born in Wilmont, North Carolina., March 24, 1938, he was the son of the late John and Rixie Jones Littrell. He was a retired self-employed rock mason in the construction industry and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War. He was a Baptist by Faith and attended the Rocky Grove Baptist Church.
Amos is survived by his wife, Bobbie Coleman Littrell of the, home one son, David Littrell (Katy) of Tiger. GA., two brothers, Glen Littrell (June) of Tiger, GA., Steve Littrell (Mary-Ann) of Clayton, one sister, Lois Burrell (Jerry) of Tiger, GA. Several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday November 15, 2015 at the Rocky Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Watts and Mr. Jerry Burrell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Saturday November 14, 2015 from 5 to 8 P.M. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 P.M. Sunday to lie in state. The family is at the home in the Bridge Creek Community.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made in his memory to Hunter Funeral Home, P.O. Box 653, Clayton, Georgia. 30525 to aid in funeral expenses.
