Alma Jane Newlon

Alma Jane Newlon, 78, of Clayton, GA., died Thursday January 20, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville, GA.

Born February 05, 1943 in Timmonsville, SC., she was the daughter of the late William M. Young and Sue E. Powers Young. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death besides her parents, William and Sue Young and by her husband Phil Newlon and is survived by one daughter, Sheila Shelton, of Cashier, NC., one brother, William (Bill) M. Young, Jr., of Apopka, FL., two sisters, Sandra (Thomas) Dickens of Tiger, GA., And Thelma (Norman) Shrode of Apopka, FL., and one grandchild. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at at a later date. The family is at their respective residences.
