Allene Queen Phillips, 96, of Stekoa Falls Road Clayton, Georgia., died June 30, 2022 at her home. She was the widow of Henry Phillips.
Born in Clayton, GA, November 8, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Ernest Queen and Allah Moseley Queen. She was owner and operator of Henry’s Restaurant for over 51 years and a member of the Battle Branch Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Phillips and her parents, Ernest and Allah Moseley Queen; by two sons, Steve and Mike Phillips, and by one sister, Doris Forrester; and is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Louise Phillips of Clayton, GA., by two daughters, Lynn Phillips Watts of Clayton, GA., and Jean Harrup of Clayton, GA. Seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren also survive. The Family would like to give a special thanks to Brenda Watkins, Pam Emlet, Mary Jo Hedden and Allene Mitchell for all there love and compassion.
Funeral services will be will be at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home Thursday July 7, 2022 at 2:00 with Pastor Madison McCrackin officiating. Burial will follow in Rabun Memory Park Cemetery Tiger, GA. There will be a Visitation Thursday July 7, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. (The Service Hour). The family is at their respective residences.
