Allen Justus

Allen Noel Justus , 76 , of Clayton , Ga. died Monday night March 20 , 2016 in Grady Memorial Hospital . Allen was born on August 13, 1939 in Rabun County to the late William Noel and Louella Gordon Justus.

Allen worked in the Furniture industry making furniture and was a member of the Mountain Grove Baptist Church and loved fishing , he was a member of the North Georgia Bass Club.

Allen was preceded in death besides his parents, his wife , Letha Fae Ledford Justus and one brother , Kenneth Justus and is survived by one son and daughter – in – law , Richard and Tina Justus of Clayton , One daughter and son – in – law , Christy and Keith Williams of Clarkesville,Ga. , and one sister , Sue Lightsey , Lawrenceville , Ga. seven grandchildren , nine great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.

The body is at the Hunter Funeral Home where the family will receive friends , on Tuesday March 22 , 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday March 23, 2016 at the Mountain Grove Baptist Church at 2:00 pm , with Rev. Larry Cannon officiating , the body will be taken to the Church to lie in state one hour prior to the service ( 1:00pm until 2:00pm). Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

The family ask that in lieu of flowers donation be made to aide funeral expenses to Hunter Funeral Home , P.O. Box 653 , Clayton , Ga. 30525.
