Alice Holt

Alice Marie Billingsley Holt, 73, of Scaly Mountain, North Carolina. Died Saturday March 29, 2014 at her residence, in Scaly Mountain.

She was born September 9, 1940 in Scaly Mountain, North Carolina., to the late Jim and Lillie Brown Billingsley. She had spent most of her life in Scaly Mountain. She was the wife of the late Tom Lee Holt. Mrs. Holt was a homemaker and was a member of the Flats Middle Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons; Steve Holt (Debbie) of Scaly Mtn., and Jamie Holt (Miranda) of Scaly Mtn. Two brothers; Gene Billingsley and Homer Billingsley of Scaly Mtn., and two sisters; Ruth Vinson and Gail Head of Scaly Mtn., NC. Five grandchildren, Matthew, Tom, Hannah, Sally and Jacob also survive.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday April 2, 2014 2:00 P.M. at the Flats Middle Creek Baptist Church in Scaly Mountain, North Carolina., with Rev. Cale Stancil officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday night April 1, 2014. The family is at the home on Baily Road, Scaly Mtn. NC.
