Albert Leon Brown, 62, of Tiger, Georgia., affectionately known as “Paw- Paw, died December 22, 2015 at his home in Tiger.
He was born and raised in Rabun County. He worked for many years in the Auto Parts Business and was a custodian in the Rabun County School System. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and camp. He loved to play guitar and listen to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Dorothy Welborn, and is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Brown of the home. Two sons, Dave Bortner (Regina) of Ruckersville, VA., John Brown (Brittney) of Clayton, two daughters, Jessica Shirley (Bryan) of Clayton, GA., Julie Harris (Trent) of Clayton. One sister, Sherrie Crone of Clayton and eleven grandchildren.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where visitation will be Monday December 28, 2015 from 5 to 7 P.M. Cremation will follow. The family is at their respective residences. The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made, in his memory, to Hunter Funeral Home, P.O. Box 653 Clayton, GA. 30525 to aid in funeral expenses.
