Tommy Andrew Lovell 71, Rabun Gap, GA.


Tommy Andrew Lovell, 71, of N. Germany Road, Rabun Gap, GA. Died Saturday May 15, 2010 in N.E. Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Rabun County, July 30, 1938 he was the son of the late E.B. and Laura Caudell Lovell. He was an automobile mechanic and was a member of the Lakemont Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by two brothers; Dewey Lovell and Roger Lovell and is survived by his wife, Joyce Turnquist Lovell of the home; one son, Stevie Lovell of Jacksonville, FL., one stepson; Jeremy Thibault, of Hendersonville, TN., one daughter, Mechelle Parham of Cartersville, GA., one stepdaughter, Adrianne Thomason of Rabun Gap, GA., three brothers, Ernest Lovell, Terrell Lovell, and Tim Lovell, all of Wiley, GA. Three sisters, Eleanor Hopper, Cathy Lane and Sue Wykle all of Wiley, GA. Six grand children also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday May 19, 2010 at the MT. City Church of God with the Rev. Wren Worley and Rev. Jewell Gaines officiating. Burial will be in the Sammy Taylor Cemetery on N. Germany Rd., Rabun Gap, GA.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday May 18, 2010. The body will be placed in the church at 10:00 AM Wednesday to Lie in State.
The family is at the home on N. Germany Rd. Rabun Gap, GA and also at the home of his brother, Ernest Lovell on Worley Creek Rd., Wiley GA.
